This is one of my
all time favorite poems....
Probably because it blends
deeply with my own feelings
and seems I should have come
up with one like it,
but didn't!!!

On June 6th my extremely sexy
boyfriend JOE moved here from Spokane, Wash.
to live with me. He and I are very much in love.
Believe it or not we met on the net.
We are proof that you can meet someone on the internet,
fall madly in love and live happily ever after.
I have enjoyed meeting and making
friends all over the world.
I am enjoying spring more
than anything this year.
I have been walking up at Sinks Canyon
which is one of the most amazing places
you'll ever find.
I see all kinds of beauty there
and can't help but steal a photo now and
then of the many woild flowers and various wildlife
that is so abundant here.
Big Horn Sheep, Moose, Deer,
Pheasants, Eagles, Rock Chucks,
Fox, and so many more I cannot even name,
or I would surely need another page.
Come back often and see the changes,
I may even post a picture or 2.
I had the most amazing time the beginning of May.
When I joined my mom and grandmother
on a Carribean cruise, that took us to
Haiti, Jamaica, and Mexico.
In Labadee, Haiti, I snorkeled and
used my underwater camera for the first time.
In Ocho Rios, Jamaica I toured the Brimmer Hall Plantation
and learned more than I needed to
know of how bananas, pineapples, coconuts,
and many other varieties of fruits and
Jamaican spices are grown.
I also sampled the many liqueurs and 150 proof Firewater.
Needless to say, add that to the heat of the day
and I got alittle toasty.
I went to Dunns River Falls, and got nice and wet.
Had a blast.
In Cozumel, Mexico I took a ferry to the mainland
and a 45 minute bus ride to Tulum.
One of the many Myan Indian Ruin sites
found in the area. I spent several hours
just walking around photographing
this beautiful site and admiring
the wild iguanas as they basked in the sun.
I took another ferry back to Cozumel
and watched the Cinco De Mayo parade
and had fun spending money in all the shops,
as well as having cornrow braids put in my hair.
Saw a beautiful Lighthouse and had to have pics,
Because anyone who knows me knows,
I lOVE lighthouses.
I was so impressed and had such a wonderful time
that I am now saving to do it all again.
I think I will become a cruise junky.
I am happy to say that all those rumors
about gaining up to as much as 7 pounds on the ship
did not apply to me.
I was very amazed at the amount of food there
but ate very wisely and didn't gain anything.
In fact I lost 3 pounds.
All in all it was great fun.
And I am looking forward to next time.........
